Chris Davis
Chris Davis is a native son of Birmingham. He studied at Lawson State Community College and is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design with a bachelor's degree in graphic design. He has designed top-selling t-shirts for the Savannah Jazz Festival and for City Stages, for which the check is in the mail, they swear. Most recently, he was an illustrator and designer with Southern Living magazine, for which the check is in the mail, they swear. Chris is now a freelance designer, postcard designer for Bare Hands art gallery, and program designer for Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival, Birmingham's premier film festival.

Always a lover of comedy (and women), in 2000 Chris became a founding member of Torrential Downplay, Birmingham's first improv sketch comedy troupe. He was later a member of the comedy group The Feminist Debutante Guild. He now performs in and hosts Fresh Ground Comics, a monthly showcase of stand-up comics at The Red Cat coffee shop in Pepper Place. Chris can be found emceeing comedy shows, fashion shows, musical performances, charity events, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, and first dates and recently opened for Janeane Garofalo when she came to town. While not performing at Fresh Ground Comics, Chris can be seen performing improv comedy with the Extemporaneous Theatre Company (ETC), and when he isn't performing with ETC, he can be seen through the open blinds of his bedroom window, which he never closes despite his neighbors' repeated requests.

Chris envies Howard Stern's self-proclaimed rank of King of All Media but would gladly settle, in a pinch, for Archduke of All Media.
